Cabinet with 4 doors
The Algonquins cabinet is a striking blend of styles and contrasting textures. Hand crafted from only FSC birch wood. The robust cabinet is constructed with blind tenon and mortise joinery for strength and durability. The exterior of the cabinet is hand carved with a random v grooved pattern creating a unique texture. The deep espresso finish (on all sides including the back and bottom) looks attractive from any viewing angle. This level of detail allows the cabinet to be used as a room divider in modern open floor plans and suitable for various elevations. The large mass of the cabinet is alleviated by the light contrasting facade of the inset flat panel doors made of MMD’s signature Linear Birch Core with a clear coat finish.The vertical pin striped alternating wood grain and continuous sweep curve at the bottom of the doors elevates the cabinet reducing the massive feel of the large cabinet in any room with out loosing its stunning presence. The piece is finished off with MMD’s signature hot gouged steel door pulls. Each piece is hand made to order and can be made in any configuration (night stand, entry hall cabinet, end cabinet) with doors or drawers.

Rickels Barn Wood Cabinet
Combines the best design elements from genres of shaker, danish, mid-century modern, as well as rustic industrial. Creates a warm and alluring piece with character complimentary to any room. The outer case has been made from reclaimed barn wood remilled and constructed with tenon and mortise joinery. Its smooth sanded surfaces and natural clear finish highlights the deep aged color and imperfections of its past 150 years of use. The flat panel inset doors are laid up from reclaimed weathered barn siding creating a wonderful contrast of color and texture. Hand made blackened steel pulls with the rectangular steel legs tie everything together.

Liquor Island Cabinet
A commercial grade stainless steel top is mounted upon a plywood cylinder, cladded in a random pattern with salvaged drops of exotic cocobolo blocks. The dark rich wood grain conceals a hidden door to a two tier wooden lazy suzan that spins freely for accessibility. Powder coated steel legs in a gray metal color with heavy duty leveling feet holds the cabinet off the floor to create an airy feel which is easy to move.
